Huawei FreeClip alternative: new Baseus Bowie MC1 headphones with Bluetooth 5.4
Baseus has released new Bowie MC1 open clip-on headphones, which have become an affordable alternative to Bose Ultra Open or Huawei FreeClip.
Here's What We Know
Thanks to Adaptive Comfort technology and the proprietary Cloud Airbag design, Bowie MC1 provide a comfortable fit without the risk of falling out. This system allows the headphones to adapt to the user's movements, keeping them securely in place even during active activities.
Although Bowie MC1s do not support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Baseus has applied its own DNN Adaptive Noise Reduction algorithm. This improves the quality of voice calls by filtering out background noise. Thanks to AI settings, the headphones minimise sound leakage and provide rich bass reproduction.
Bowie MC1 support Bluetooth 5.4, are IP57 dust and water resistant, and offer up to 40 hours of battery life with the charging case.
The new product has a compact, ergonomic design and is available in black and white colours. The headphones are available for $49.99 (with a $20 discount coupon), which is significantly cheaper than the Bose Ultra Open ($229).
In January, Baseus introduced the 10,000 mAh Super Charge Power Bank with 67W support and a built-in cable. The Power Bank has a built-in cable, as well as two USB-A and USB-C ports, which allows you to charge up to three devices at the same time. Baseus also emphasises that the device supports a variety of charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS and QC 3.0.
