iPhone 17 Air may get a 6.7-inch display

The new iPhone 17 Air may have a larger display than expected. On the Recycle Bin podcast, John Prosser announced that the new product will have a 6.7-inch display, not 6.6, as previously reported.
Here's What We Know
Last year, analyst Ross Young noted that the iPhone 17 Air's display would be 6.55 inches or 6.6 inches. Now it is unknown which of the parameters is correct: 6.6 inches or 6.7 inches.
In addition, Prosser claims that the thickness of the iPhone 17 Air will be 5.64 mm, excluding the rear camera. Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the minimum thickness of the phone would be only 5.5 mm. Thus, 5.64 mm looks quite plausible if the information is confirmed.
Jon Prosser is known in the tech world as the host of Front Page Tech. His predictions about Apple have a mixed reputation: sometimes he hits the mark, and sometimes he doesn't. For example, in 2020, he was the first to reveal the AirTag design, several months before the official announcement. He also provided many accurate details about the iPad mini 6. However, he and his sources were wrong about the Apple Watch Series 7 with flat edges, although the company may have been testing such a design.
In recent weeks, Prosser has revealed several details about Apple, including the likely design of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air. He also claims that iOS 19 will have an updated camera with a visionOS-like interface.
The official announcement of the iPhone 17 Air is expected in September.
Insiders also admit that the iPhone 17 Pro may receive aluminium frames instead of titanium.
