Ultra-fast ViewSonic XG2737 gaming monitor: 520Hz and Full-HD resolution
ViewSonic has expanded its product range with the introduction of the new XG2737 gaming monitor. This 27-inch monitor with a 520Hz refresh rate promises fast response and high performance, but only has Full-HD resolution.
Here's What We Know
This may reduce its versatility compared to QHD monitors.
Although the company had previously announced the XG2737, now the model has received a full-fledged presentation. The 520Hz refresh rate leaves no compromises, but the Full-HD resolution means that the image may look less sharp. This is in comparison to QHD monitors available on the market, which offer higher resolutions at very reasonable prices.
The monitor has an IPS panel with a 1ms response time. The XG2737 supports native 6-bit + FRC colour, covering 99% of the sRGB colour space. Contrast ratio is 1000:1 and typical brightness is 400 nits.

The monitor's additional features are modest: there is a USB hub with two USB Type-A ports, but no KVM switch. Built-in 2W speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack provide sufficient sound support.
The monitor stand has height, tilt and swivel adjustments and is compatible with VESA mounts (100 x 100 mm). Two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort are available for connectivity, and it supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology to synchronise the frame rate with the monitor's refresh rate.
The XG2737 is not yet available for purchase.
