AAA sci-fi RPG Exodus will be released in 2026

Exodus, an upcoming sci-fi role-playing game developed by former BioWare veterans, has generated considerable interest since its announcement in late 2023. With a strong Mass Effect influence, the game promises to be an immersive experience. However, fans hoping for a quick release will have to wait a little longer, as the game is confirmed to launch in 2026.

Here's What We Know

Hasbro, the parent company of Archetype Entertainment, announced the delay in its recent quarterly earnings report. CEO Chris Cocks said that Exodus will be the beginning of Hasbro's self-publishing and internal efforts in the gaming industry. He said that Hasbro has been investing in video games for more than seven years, with numerous projects and more than 100 licensing partnerships in its portfolio. Cox expressed excitement about the upcoming launch of Exodus, which will be the company's first major project in the gaming sector.

Cox also noted that new business opportunities, including self-published games such as Exodus, will receive more investment. In addition, Hasbro announced a new partnership with Saber Interactive, known for the development of Space Marine 2, to create an AAA game based on one of Hasbro's core IPs.

Where To Play

Exodus is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
