Arrowhead Games confirms new Helldivers 2 collaboration, which is currently in "very early stages"

The developers of Helldivers 2 are working on a new event in the game, as the studio announced on the official Discord channel. One of the developers under the nickname Sephez said that the project is at a very early stage.

Here's What We Know

This statement came in response to a player's comment suggesting a possible crossover between Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic. Although the developer did not disclose details, the use of the word "new" hints that it will be something different from previous crossovers.

The last major crossover in Helldivers 2 was with the Killzone series in December, focusing mainly on Killzone 2. The event brought new armour, weapons, and cosmetic items. Despite the success, the high prices of the content caused controversy. Arrowhead stated that it would take into account player feedback and revise the pricing.

Recently, the game received the Servants of Freedom Premium Warbond update, which added explosive weapons, including the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle and GP-20 Ultimatum.
