The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has appeared in a video, showing off its slim design and real-world specs
Samsung announced the new Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone at its Galaxy Unpacked event in late January, which attracted attention due to its ultra-thin design, but it wasn't allowed to be used. Yesterday, a video surfaced on YouTube showing the Galaxy S25 Edge in operation, giving the first real look at the device.
Here's What We've Seen
The video appeared on Alexis Garza's channel, where a working Galaxy S25 Edge was compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The S25 Edge looks only slightly thicker than the folded Fold 6, which is 5.6mm thick. This means that the Galaxy S25 Edge could be less than 6mm thick.
The AIDA64 app that was run on the S25 Edge revealed that the phone has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of inbuilt storage and a 4,000mAh battery. The app also reports three 12-megapixel cameras, but that's probably the resolution in which the camera saves images by default rather than the full number of sensor megapixels.
The main focus of this device is the design, which is the main emphasis. In addition to being slim, the phone could be significantly lighter than the standard Galaxy S25, which weighs 162g.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge at MWC 2025 in the first week of March.
