According to a new report, Apple is preparing to launch an updated MacBook Air with an M4 chip in March 2025. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that the company is preparing its marketing, sales and retail teams for the debut of the new laptop.

Here's What We Know

The MacBook Air M4 is expected to be available in two sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch, just like the previous model. Apple introduced the MacBook Air M3 in March last year, and a few months later launched the new M4 chip, which first appeared on the iPad Pro.

In October, the company updated the iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro with the M4 family of chips. Now it's the turn of the MacBook Air.

The new laptop is expected to offer improved performance and power efficiency thanks to the M4 chip, as well as a standard configuration with 16GB of RAM. The laptop is rumoured to have a starting price of $1,199.
