Phasmophobia versions for consoles get voice recognition feature
There's good news for console gamers - voice recognition is coming to consoles. Although PC players have been using voice commands since October, PlayStation and Xbox owners have not yet had the opportunity to try it out.
Here's What We Know
Kinetic has now confirmed that voice recognition is ready for PlayStation 5 and Xbox. This will allow console players to use voice prompts with devices such as the Spirit Box, Ouija Board, and Monkey Paw to enhance the immersive and challenging experience.
Despite the delay in the introduction of some of Phasmophobia's favourite tools, console players continue to enjoy the game. Since its full release in October, Phasmophobia has sold more than two million copies on consoles, bringing its total sales across all platforms to an impressive 22 million.
Earlier this month, the development team shared exciting plans for Phasmophobia in 2025, revealing a map redesign, new ghost hunting gear, and exciting seasonal events. Players can also look forward to a brand new location that will further enhance the spooky experience.
