Germany to transfer 370,000 artillery munitions to Ukraine in 2025
Germany will provide 370,000 pieces of artillery ammunition to the Ukrainian Defence Forces in 2025.

This was announced by Major General Christian Freuding, Head of the Planning and Command Staff of the German Ministry of Defence. The number of ammunition planned for transfer has increased by 30,000 compared to 2024.
In addition, the first six RCH 155 wheeled self-propelled artillery systems are expected to be delivered this year, and crew training is already underway. In total, Ukraine is to receive 54 of these systems, and the first one was delivered on 13 January for training.

Earlier, Germany updated the list of military aid for Ukraine, adding more armoured vehicles, anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition and other weapons. The new aid package includes 56 MRAP armoured vehicles, additional ammunition for Leopard 1 tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
The country will also transfer 241,000 rounds of ammunition for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns and 282,000 rounds of ammunition for other anti-aircraft systems from Bundeswehr warehouses and purchase them.
