Ubisoft confirms that some people have received Assassin's Creed Shadows ahead of schedule and calls the leaks unfortunate

Assassin's Creed Shadows got into the hands of some players almost a month before the official release, which could cause a wave of spoilers on the Internet and Ubisoft commented on it.

Here's What We Know

Ubisoft has confirmed that some players got access to the game earlier than planned, but noted that any video published does not reflect the final quality of the game. The company is working on a launch patch that is not present in the versions that players are currently playing.

Some players have already started streaming the game, which may spoil the experience for some who have been waiting for the game but see the main content almost a month before the release. Ubisoft called these leaks unfortunate and asked the community not to spoil the experience for other players.

However, judging by the statement, it is hard to say that Ubisoft is that concerned about this, which may indicate that not as many players have received copies of the game as it may seem.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is out on 20 March on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
