Omega unveils Seamaster Diver 300M in bronze-gold and burgundy
The Swiss brand Omega has expanded its Seamaster Diver 300M line with a new model in bronze-gold and burgundy hues. The watch has a 42mm case made of a unique Bronze Gold alloy, which consists of 37.5% 9K gold, palladium and silver.
Here's What We Know
Thanks to this technology, the watch does not corrode and does not form a green coating, which is typical for ordinary bronze.
The case has a burgundy oxidised aluminium bezel that harmoniously combines with the matte black dial. The hands and markers are covered with 18K bronze gold and black inserts, and are coated with Super-LumiNova luminescent coating for easy reading in the dark.
The Seamaster Diver 300M is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 movement with a power reserve of 55 hours. This movement is METAS-certified and guarantees high accuracy (0/+5 seconds per day) as well as resistance to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss.
The domed sapphire crystal is highly scratch-resistant. The watch is water resistant to 300 m (~1000 ft) and is ideal for diving. The model is available in two versions: with a black rubber strap for $13,900 or with a bronze gold bracelet for $27,900. The novelty is available on the official Omega website and in branded stores.
Casio recently presented a new monochrome G-Shock GW-5000HS watch in the UK. This watch costs £279 (~$353) and combines classic design with modern features.
