Disney+ and Lucasfilm have released the first trailer for the second season of Andor, which will be released on 22 April 2025. The new season will consist of 12 episodes divided into four chapters of 3 episodes each, which is significantly different from the weekly release of the first season.

Here's What We Know

The first chapter will be released on 22 April, and the following "three episode" chapters will be available on 29 April, 6 May and 13 May. This format will allow viewers to see the full story in a shorter period of time compared to the first season, which lasted over two months.

The first season of Andor received a near-perfect score from critics and viewers on Rotten Tomatoes, becoming one of the best Star Wars projects. The second season will be the last for the series and will conclude the story of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna. After this season, Lucasfilm is focusing on films, including The Mandalorian and Grogu, which will be released in May 2026.
