Andrés Muschietti is still being considered to direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but the final decision will be made after the script is written

During the press conference, they noted that director Andres Muschietti is still being considered for the project, but his involvement will depend on his reaction to the script, which is currently being developed.

Gunn emphasised his active involvement in the creation of the script and noted that they are waiting for the moment when it is ready to show Muschietti to determine if he is a good fit.

The film Batman: The Brave and the Bold will tell the story of an unusual father-son relationship between Batman and Robin. The plot is based on Grant Morrison's Batman comic book series. This film will feature Bruce Wayne's son Damian Wayne, who will become the new Robin. However, it is not yet known who will play Batman in the DCU, as Pattinson's Batman exists in a separate and independent universe.

Muschietti is known for his work on It, It 2 and The Flash.
