Bossa Games studio has made another round of layoffs - all due to "upheaval in the industry"

Bossa Games, formerly known as Bossa Studios, has announced additional layoffs amidst the problems in the video game industry. More than a year ago, the company made redundancies, when a third of all employees were laid off, and recently it has carried out another wave of layoffs.
Here's What We Know
This is the second layoff after the announcement of Lost Skies, an ambitious open-world project that differs from the studio's traditional focus. Studio director Henrique Olifiers shared that the company is focusing on the late stage of Lost Skies development to ensure a successful release and long-term engagement. As soon as the game becomes stable, Bossa plans to restructure into smaller teams that will be able to work on innovative projects faster.
Olifes also noted that the massive layoffs in the industry over the past two years are not just a temporary phenomenon, but rather a fundamental change in the business landscape. While the exact number of employees affected by this latest round remains uncertain, it is clear that the company is focused on adapting to the changing gaming environment.
