According to Russian IT sources, Apple has suspended access to the Apple Developer Enterprise Programme (ADEP) for developers from Russia.

Here's What We Know

According to RBC, Russians lost access to the platform on 12 February.

The closure of the programme means that Russian developers can no longer use ADEP to create and distribute their own iOS applications for internal use without going through the App Store. One of the software companies in St Petersburg confirmed to the media that all the data of the programme had been deleted.

Prior to the shutdown, Apple warned companies using enterprise certificates that they would stop working by mid-February. These certificates allow developers to sign and distribute applications.

ADEP was widely used to test apps in Russia without publishing them to the App Store, but also major corporations and development companies relied on the platform for internal business applications, corporate chatbots, CRM systems and logistics tools.

Although Apple has suspended product sales and limited some services, such as Apple Pay, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the App Store is still open in Russia. However, the company has removed some apps, including VPN services and certain news apps, in compliance with requests from the Russian authorities.

As a reminder, iPhone users have discovered a strange bug in voice input: when dictating the word "racist", the word "Trump" appears for a moment.
