The HQ-7 is a Chinese short-range anti-aircraft missile system based on the French Crotale system. It has a range of up to 12 km and an altitude of up to 6 km. The reaction time is approximately 6 seconds. The system is equipped with a combined guidance system that includes semi-active radar or infrared guidance.

The HQ-12 is designed to replace the Soviet S-75 and has a range of up to 50 km and an altitude of up to 25 km. The missiles are capable of reaching speeds of up to 1,200 m/s. The missiles are guided by a semi-active radar system, which allows them to effectively engage aircraft, cruise missiles and drones.
