ColorWare introduces Retro AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 in the style of classic Macs

ColorWare, a company specialising in creating customised versions of Apple devices, has added new AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 models to its Retro collection, designed in the style of classic Macintosh computers.

Here's What We Know

The headphones are available in two colours: Light Mode (matte cream) and Dark Mode (matte black). Both variants have colour accents reminiscent of the classic Apple rainbow logo used on the company's original computers.

Custom AirPods Pro 2 cost $499, and AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation cost $439. ColorWare uses a proprietary colouring technology that guarantees coating durability and colour longevity.

In addition to the unique design, the characteristics of the new AirPods do not differ from the standard versions. This means users get the same features, including active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and improved battery life.

The new Retro AirPods are an addition to the Mac mini Retro series, which ColorWare introduced in January.

ColorWare introduced AirPods in stylish shades of brown. The new colours are designed to look more neutral and be less noticeable in the ears than the classic white AirPods.

There are three colours available for each product: a light shade of Glaze, a creamy, medium brown Toasty, and a dark brown Java. These shades are reminiscent of the neutral colours Apple used for the Beats line in collaboration with Kim Kardashian.
