Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge may be released in mid-April: launch date and details

New information has emerged about the launch date of Galaxy S25 Edge, the fourth smartphone in the Galaxy S25 series. According to a source from Korea, it will be announced in mid-April, and sales will begin in May.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy S25 Edge was unveiled at the Unpacked event last month, but Samsung did not reveal many details about the design of this phone. Now, a new leak reveals the exact date of its launch. According to the Korean publication Sedaily, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launched on 16 April 2025, which means a possible global release between 16 and 17 April, depending on the difference in time zones.

The launch will take place in an online format, as Samsung has already shown the smartphone live earlier this year.

Although the official launch is expected in April, the Galaxy S25 Edge will not be available until May. This confirms previous leaks that indicated a possible delay in the device's availability. However, the number of the first units will be limited - the launch run will be only 40,000 units, which is less than 1% of Samsung's monthly production volume.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in three colours: black, silver and light blue. The device will have a thickness of about 6.4 mm, and the price is likely to be similar to the Galaxy S25 Plus model.

Recently, the first video of the Samsung Galaxy Flip7 was posted online. It shows the main design changes and reveals several key features.
