AMD has revealed specifications of Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards based on RDNA 4 architecture

AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 graphics cards based on RDNA 4 architecture will start selling in March.

The company has not yet named the price of the new products - this information will be announced on 28 February, but the manufacturer has disclosed detailed specifications.

Here's What We Know

Let's start with the information that concerns both models of video cards: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will get 53.9 billion transistors, 357 mm² area, 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory (20 Gbps) with 256-bit bus, as well as 64 MB of Infinity 3rd generation cache. The GPUs will get PCIe 5.0 x16 support, HDMI 2.1b and DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR13.5) ports.

Radeon RX 9070 XT received 64 RDNA 4 compute units, 64 ray tracing accelerators, 128 AI accelerators and 4096 stream processors. GPU frequencies range from 2400 MHz to 2970 MHz. TDP is 304W. A 750W power supply is required.

Radeon RX 9070 is equipped with 56 CUs and 56 ray tracing units. There are 112 cores for AI work and 3584 stream processors. The frequency of the chip is from 2070 MHz to 2540 MHz, TDP - 220W. A 650W power supply unit is required.
