An insider has revealed that the upcoming Honor GT Pro could be the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip

Honor is gearing up to launch a new GT Pro smartphone, which will be an addition to the already announced GT model. According to the latest rumours from China, the GT Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and it could be the cheapest smartphone with this chip.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by a well-known insider Digital Chat Station. He reports that the GT Pro model will get a 6.78-inch flat screen with 1.5K resolution and a 50 MP main camera. The battery capacity will range from 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh, and it will be charged using a 100W wired charger.

According to an insider, Honor is also testing an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, but its presence in the final version is not yet confirmed. The Honor GT Pro is expected to be officially unveiled mid-year, possibly in June.
