A new Witcher novel will be released later this year in over 20 languages

Andrzej Sapkowski, author of the famous Witcher series of books, released a new novel about Geralt of Rivia late last year called Crossing of the Crows. However, the book was only released in Polish. Now it has been revealed that the new novel will be available to readers worldwide on 30 September 2025.

Here's What We Know

This is the author's first work in the last 7 years that will be published in English simultaneously with translations in more than 19 languages. The English translation will be handled by David French, who has previously worked on translations of other books in the series.

"Crossroads of Ravens" (Rozdroże Kruków) is a standalone adventure that will tell the story of the youth of Geralt of Rivia. The book describes his first assignment, received in the witches' fortress of Caer Morhen. Young Geralt will encounter monsters, betrayal, new friends and familiar characters, and begin to realise the gravity of his fate. The author emphasises that this is a story of growing up, where idealism collides with harsh reality and the choices made shape the legend.

This novel will be an important event for fans of the series, offering both an entry point for new readers and an exciting addition for long-time fans. Sapkowski promises that the book will provide a deeper understanding of Geralt's formation as a legendary witch.
