Twitch will allow even those streamers who have just registered to earn money on the platform

Twitch has announced significant changes to its monetisation policy: from 2025, most streamers will be able to earn money through subscriptions and Bits, regardless of their status on the platform.
Here's What We Know
Previously, access to monetisation tools such as subscriptions and Bits (Twitch's virtual currency) was limited to partners and affiliated streamers. To do this, they had to meet a number of conditions: have at least 50 subscribers, an average audience of three viewers per broadcast, and at least eight hours of broadcasting per week. Now, these restrictions are lifted, and newcomers will be able to start earning money immediately after registration.
In his blog, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said:
"We want you to be able to take advantage of our monetisation tools whether you're just starting out or have been on Twitch for a while. This will allow creators to grow their communities and start earning money through direct support from viewers."
In addition, Twitch is planning to introduce new features for streamers to work together, such as Shared Hype Trains, which will allow multiple creators to collect support from their audiences at the same time. The mobile app is also expected to be updated with improved tools for editing clips and chat moderation.
The official launch of the updates is scheduled for 2025, but the exact date is not yet available.
