Monster Hunter Wilds attracted almost a million simultaneous players in the first hours and took 8th place in the list of the most popular Steam games

Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom's new game, entered the top ten most popular Steam games of all time on the first day of its release, surpassing the records of Baldur's Gate 3 and Hogwarts Legacy.

On 28 February 2025, Monster Hunter Wilds was officially released on Steam and other platforms. And in a few hours, it reached a peak of 986 thousand simultaneous players at the time of writing.

This allowed the game to take the 8th place in the list of the most popular games on Steam. The game even overtook Elden Ring with a record of 953 thousand players. The next target is Cyberpunk 2077, but it needs about 100 thousand more players.

Monster Hunter Wilds continues the tradition of the series, offering a large-scale open world and exciting gameplay. Players are already actively exploring new locations, creating characters, and facing their first monsters.
