Samsung is preparing a One UI 7.0 update that will include improved controls for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless headphones via the Quick Access Bar.

Here's What We Know

To use the new headphone control menu, you need to press and hold the volume slider on the quick settings panel until a pop-up menu appears. You can also launch this menu by tapping the headphone icon on the player widget. It can be used to control the headphone volume, switch noise cancelling modes, adjust the audio equaliser, and enable the Gain Dialogue and Volume Normalisation features. Users will also be able to change 360 Audio settings.

One of the key features of One UI 7.0 was the memorisation of audio settings for each app, which provides convenience for repeated use. For example, if a user listens to music or watches a video through a particular app, the sound settings previously applied are saved automatically. The update also includes newly designed widgets for Galaxy Buds 3 that harmonise with the overall One UI 7.0 style.

There's also the introduction of Adapt Sound, an age-appropriate audio customisation feature that makes playback even more personalised, but this feature is only available on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro model.

Some of these features may not be available on previous generations of Galaxy Buds models and the control functionality for each model may vary.
