Twitter promotes fake articles disguised as BBC News stories

After Ilon Musk (Elon Musk) became the owner of Twitter (X), more and more questions began to appear to this social network. The platform has been repeatedly found to promote deliberately fake information and manipulative data. But perhaps it has not gone this far yet.
Here's What We Know
Authoritative journalist and editor-in-chief of the popular portal The Verge Tom Warren drew the attention of his subscribers to the fact that Twitter algorithms purposefully promote fake news and analyses disguised as BBC News articles.
Warren claims he sees such posts in his feed all the time and it doesn't appear that Twitter management is making any effort to combat misinformation.
It should be noted that similar methods of disinformation and propaganda have long been used by Russian channels: they create texts and videos and pass them off as publications of well-known world media, also creating fake domains and pages.
The conclusions, as always, are left to our readers, but we urge to be critical of any information on the Internet, even if it is labelled with the logo of a reputable media outlet.
