Casio launches limited edition G-Shock DW-6900TR to celebrate 30 years of the series in Europe

Casio has announced the upcoming launch of limited edition G-Shock DW-6900TR watches in a number of European countries. These models celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary DW-6900 series and are already available in the UK and Japan.

The new models are expected to be available soon in the Netherlands, France and Spain.

The DW-6900TR-1, DW-6900TR-4 and DW-6900TR-9 models have several design elements reminiscent of previous versions of the watch. They feature a metal luminous button with the inscription "Since 1995" engraved on it, the year of the first series. The caseback bears the Shock Resist logo surrounded by 30 stars, symbolising each year of the series' existence.

The models are presented in three colours: black (DW-6900TR-1), red (DW-6900TR-4) and yellow (DW-6900TR-9), reminiscent of the shades of the older DW-6900H models.

The watch is shock resistant and water resistant to 20 bar and has a battery life of up to 5 years. It is equipped with a chronograph function with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer, hour signals and a multifunctional alarm. The time can be displayed in both 12-hour and 24-hour formats, and the calendar is automatically adjusted to 2099. The clock is accurate to within 15 seconds per month.

These models are available for €119 on Casio's official websites in Europe. Although the exact release date has not yet been announced, users can sign up to receive launch notifications.
