Here's What We Know
In an internal memo, he said that a 60-hour work week is optimal for achieving high productivity. Brin emphasised that competition in the field of artificial intelligence has greatly intensified and the company must intensify its efforts to win the race to create general artificial intelligence.
Despite this statement, Google's official policy still requires employees to be in the office only three days a week. Brin has also expressed his displeasure with those he feels are not working hard enough, calling their behaviour demoralising for the rest of the company.
Sergey Brin has been heavily involved in Google's developments since 2022, when ChatGPT came into existence. He aims to help the company break into a leadership position in artificial intelligence.
