Split Fiction's budget is almost twice as big as It Takes Two's, - game director
This week sees the release of Hazelight Studios' new co-operative adventure, Split Fiction, offering players the chance to control writers Mio and Zoe as they navigate a challenging simulation. Throughout the game, players will explore a mix of fantasy and science fiction as they work together to overcome the challenges of their imaginations.
Here's What We Know
Director Josef Fares has confirmed that the main storyline will take approximately 12 to 14 hours to complete, with additional side content potentially extending the play time. In a recent interview with MinnMax, Fares said that the game's budget is "almost double" that of their previous game, It Takes Two. When asked about the budget, he humorously replied: "Look at the game, dude. Are you kidding me?"

Split Fiction will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

The game is scheduled for release on 6 March.
