Lenovo has unveiled a concept of removable displays for its own laptops

At MWC 2025 Lenovo presented a concept of removable panels for its own laptops.

Here's What We Know

The Chinese company showed a collection of gadgets under the general name Magic Bay Tico, the capabilities of which are demonstrated on the example of the ThinkBook 16P Gen 6 laptop.

Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to see four interesting prototypes that connect to the laptop through Magic Bay connectors:

  • 2nd Display Concept - an 8-inch vertical screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This small screen can be used to display social media feeds, for example;
  • Dual Screen Concept - two 13.3-inch displays with a resolution of 2880×1920 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which form a three-monitor design;
  • Tiko Concept - a small circular display for visualising AI "emotions";
  • Tiko Pro Concept - a thin horizontal display for widgets.

It's not yet known if any of these gadgets will appear on the market, but at the very least the additional screens would definitely be in high demand.
