OPPO has said it will release monthly updates for its artificial intelligence

At MWC 2025 in Barcelona, OPPO announced its intention to release monthly artificial intelligence (AI) updates. This decision is due to the growing demand for AI technology in applications.

OPPO plans to provide an average of one new AI update per month to meet the needs of users. Among the new features to be introduced, the company announced AI Call Translator and AI VoiceScribe. AI Call Translator will translate calls into multiple languages in real-time, while AI VoiceScribe will offer multi-purpose voice summarisation during voice calls, online training and meetings. These features will appear in future updates for OPPO devices.

OPPO's president of overseas marketing, sales and services, Billy Zhang, said that user interface is a key factor in the development of AI. He emphasised that OPPO smartphones not only serve as a medium for AI, but are also the engines that provide the best AI capabilities. For his part, Google's Matt Waldbusser expressed excitement about the collaboration with OPPO to shape the future of mobile AI.
