Ukrainian army to receive new high-speed kamikaze drones from NORD

The Ministry of Defence has approved new unmanned aerial systems NORD, developed in Ukraine, for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are distinguished by their manoeuvrability, resistance to electronic warfare and high speed.

Here's What We Know

The Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment explained that NORD drones are compact aircraft with an advanced control system. They provide reliable communication between the operator and the drone even in conditions of active enemy electronic warfare.

The drones have carbon fibre frames of various sizes and can carry a payload of several kilograms. And the maximum flight speed of NORD is up to 150 km/h.
