Lockheed Martin is ready to start building the Golden Dome for the USA

Lockheed Martin has announced its readiness to help develop a comprehensive US missile defence system known as America's Golden Dome. The company intends to integrate satellite-based missile detection, combat interceptors, next-generation laser weapons and command and control systems.

Lockheed Martin Chairman, President and CEO Jim Tyklet emphasised the company's experience in air defence. He noted that Lockheed Martin has all the necessary technologies to implement a large-scale initiative comparable to the Manhattan Project.

The company already plays a key role in US missile defence and has demonstrated the effectiveness of multi-layered defence in the Pacific region, particularly in Guam. The proposed Golden Dome is designed to provide protection against hypersonic missiles, flocks of drones and other threats.

The system will use artificial intelligence and real-time data analysis to detect, track and neutralise threats with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

It is worth reminding that it was President Donald Trump who called for a strengthening of the US domestic defence. Lockheed Martin claims to have the necessary experience to implement this strategy and create a powerful American shield.
