There's a real Renaissance in the retro handheld gaming console market: at the end of February Retroid's Pocket Flip 2 foldable handheld console was unveiled, today we reported on the Ayaneo Pocket Micro Classic, and now there's more news from Retroid.

Here's What We Know

The company has unveiled the Retroid Pocket Classic, a device whose design and concept echoes Nintendo's iconic Game Boy console.

The retro gadget will get a 4″ square screen and does not provide for analogue sticks, which makes it incompatible with some games.

Technical details of the console are not reported, but it is known that it will be able to run games from systems such as the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and Game Boy.

The Retroid Pocket Classic will go on sale in seven bright colours, including one translucent variant, but when and how much it will cost is yet to be revealed.
