Monster Hunter Wilds achieved record sales worldwide, selling more than 8 million copies in the first three days of its release. The game also showed a high level of online activity, reaching almost 1.4 million players simultaneously on Steam. And at the same time, it showed a great start in Japan.

In Japan, the game topped the weekly physical copy sales chart according to Famitsu, selling over 601 thousand copies.

In the console market, PS5 received a significant boost from the game, selling almost 109 thousand units in a week, which exceeded the performance of Nintendo Switch (45 thousand consoles sold).
