Lovecraft is never too much: The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a co-operative horror game based on the famous novel, has been announced.
Publisher Nacon and ACE Team studio announced co-operative horror The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu.
Here's What We Know
This will be another game based on the novels of Howard F. Lovecraft (H.P. Lovecraft), but this time it is about the story The Mound, in which the heroes go to a remote island in search of an entrance to the underworld.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is a four-player first-person view horror game with gameplay reminiscent of 2024's indie hit Lethal Company. As in that game, in Omen of Cthulhu, before each outing it is necessary to prepare for the upcoming challenges, choose equipment and discuss a plan of action.
On the island gamers will face not only creepy creatures, but also maddened people, and muskets, sabres, axes and other weapons will help to deal with enemies.
Heroes will gradually lose their minds and see hallucinations, which will affect their ability to resist.
When We Can Expect It
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
