A video revealing the design of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max has been released online
Although the official release of the iPhone 17 series is about six months away, we can already see its possible design thanks to 3D mockups that show changes compared to the iPhone 16.
Here's What We Know
The iDeviceHelp YouTube channel has posted a video showing the mockups of four iPhone 17 models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. They were created in collaboration with Majin Bu, and the video confirms that the visual changes between the iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 will not be significant. The thickness of the new models will remain almost the same as its predecessor, with the iPhone 17 measuring approximately 7.28 mm thick.
The main changes will affect the Pro and Pro Max models. They will have larger camera units, which is likely to make the iPhone 17 Pro Max thicker - approximately 8.3 mm. This contradicts the latest rumours from Ice Universe, but is confirmed by the mockups.
In addition, iDeviceHelp also shows the iPhone 17 Air, which has interesting design features. For example, its physical buttons are almost as thick as the body itself, which adds to the device's uniqueness. The iPhone 17 will have a thin body, approximately 7.28 mm, like the previous model.
Apple plans to increase the thickness of the iPhone 17 Pro Max compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This was reported by the Chinese insider Ice Universe.
According to him, the new model will have a thickness of 8.725 mm, which is 0.475 mm more than its predecessor. The main reason for this is probably the installation of a larger battery.
