Samsung has released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Fold 6, which includes an updated App Continuity feature.

Here's What We Know

This feature allows users to continue using an app when switching from the main screen to an external screen. The new version adds a "Swipe to Continue" option, which is activated on the lock screen when the device is closed. If the user swipes on the screen, the app continues on the external display. Otherwise, the phone is locked.

In One UI 6.1.1, users can enable or disable each app separately in App Continuity. However, in One UI 7, the approach to the functionality has changed and there are now three settings available in App Continuity: 'Always', 'Swipe to continue' and 'Never', which gives a more versatile approach to how the feature works.

The beta version of One UI 7 is already available for Galaxy Fold 6 users in the US and India, and will soon be available in the UK and Korea. Members can test the update via the Samsung Members app.
