Not everyone will like it: launching Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 requires linking your Microsoft account to PSN

As early as April, the popular racing game Forza Horizon 5 will lose its status as an Xbox console exclusive and will be released on PlayStation 5.

This is not the first such port from Microsoft, but it may lay the foundation for future synchronisation of the two ecosystems of competing companies.

The Forza Horizon website has published answers to frequently asked questions from gamers and it says that when Forza Horizon 5 first launches on PlayStation 5, gamers will have to link a Microsoft account to their PSN account.

This is necessary to utilise various Microsoft services in the game, including crossplay between all platforms.

When We Can Expect It

Forza Horizon 5 will be released on PS5 on 25 April.
