Apple is behind schedule: no meaningful new AI features in iOS 19

We have already reported that according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple has postponed the launch of Smart Home Hub due to the delay in implementing new features for Siri.

However, the American company is also experiencing difficulties with the implementation of other innovations, including the development of the next version of iOS.

Here's What We Know

In the new issue of Power On's weekly news digest, authoritative insider and journalist Mark Gurman reported that Apple has been significantly behind its internal schedule in recent months and because of this, iOS 19 will not feature any significant new features with the use of AI.

At the moment, the US IT giant is focused on improving iOS 18 and implementing previously announced features.

Gurman believes that Apple won't be promising innovative ideas to users anytime soon, even at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) show, which is expected in June, we shouldn't expect any high-profile announcements.

The bad news is that Apple is unlikely to unveil groundbreaking AI features at the upcoming WWDC. Instead, it's likely to outline plans to incorporate current features into more apps.
