Media: Amazon won't change James Bond's image

Recently it became known that the rights to the film franchise "James Bond" (James Bond) transferred to the ownership of Amazon.

Long before this event there were rumours that in the next films the authors may significantly change the image of the famous secret agent, up to the change of skin colour, which led fans of "James Bond" in bewilderment. But it seems that this will not happen after all.

Here's What We Know

The Daily Mail published information from an insider who is familiar with Amazon's plans. According to him, the new owners of the series respect the source material, appreciate the rich history of the series and are not going to radically change Agent 007. He will definitely remain male, British, but the issue of skin colour has not yet been decided.

The Daily Mail source emphasises that Amazon owner Jeff Bezos is a fan of the franchise and is an adamant opponent of changing Bond's image.

Of course, there is no information about a new film about the adventures of James Bond, but some Hollywood representatives believe that the director could be Christopher Nolan - the author of the Oscar-winning film "Oppenheimer" (Oppenheimer).
