The developers of the online shooter Call of Duty: Warzone have revealed the date of the return of the original Verdansk map to the game.

Activision has released a teaser titled "Unforgettable Verdansk" which reveals that the original map will return to Warzone as early as 3 April.

It will be a sprawling map from the game that came out in 2020 and was shut down in 2023.

In the trailer, Activision emphasises the nostalgia associated with the map's return, and shows the familiar expanse of Verdansk and its landmarks to every Warzone fan.

However, gamers, as is often the case, are unhappy with the developers' decision to bring back the Verdansk map without bringing back the original Call of Duty: Warzone mechanics.
