New details of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet: the game will reveal the themes of faith, religion and loneliness in the distant future

Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann has lifted the curtain on the studio's most ambitious project yet: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, revealing more details about the game. This sci-fi adventure promises to ask players deep questions about faith, loneliness, and the secrets of the silent world.

Here's What We Know

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet takes players 2000 years into the future. At the heart of this cosmic story is Sempiria, a planet shrouded in 600 years of inexplicable silence.

Players will take on the role of Jordan A. Moon, a lone bounty hunter whose crash-landing in this mysterious world.

Druckmann, known for his work on The Last of Us series, said that the team spent years carefully crafting the game's rich story. "We really wanted to make a game about faith and religion, but also about loneliness," he explained.

The game's narrative promises to be a lonely journey, marking a departure from previous Naughty Dog games where players often had companions.

"I really want you to get lost in a place where you're really confused about what happened here, who these people are, what their story is," Druckmann explained, hinting that the game is focused on mystery and self-discovery.

It is worth reminding that Naughty Dog still has no final vision for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
