In January, Samsung confirmed it was working on an augmented reality headset called Project Moohan, which is being built with a special Android XR operating system.

The Korean firm showed off a prototype at January's Unpacked and MWC 2025 shows, but didn't reveal many details. It was stated that users will be able to control the device using gestures and finger movements, but now a number of other details have emerged.

Here's What We Know

The team of the SamMobile portal discovered information that in addition to Project Moohan, Samsung is working on controllers of its own production for this device.

Journalists found mention of the serial designation ET-OI610 and believe that these are the controllers that will come bundled with the headset. They are expected to have wireless connectivity and sensitive motion sensors, and the design and concept of the controllers will be similar to similar gadgets for other mixed and virtual reality devices.

Of course, Samsung will do its best to make Project Moohan's gesture-based control convenient, but having similar controllers will add precision to the process and at this technological stage it will be convenient and familiar to the user.
