Core Keeper received its first major update with a bunch of fixes and new features

The 'Bags and Blasts' update, the first major Core Keeper expansion since launch, is officially out and brings a wealth of new content. Players can now explore the Oasis, a newly introduced sub-biome in the Desert of Beginnings, and face a formidable new boss.

Here's What We Know

The update introduces a new dungeon filled with cicada enemies - some of which also appear in the Azeos Wilderness - along with a type of bomb scarab. In addition, players can use four new types of bombs, and grenades have been added as throwing objects that can stun, poison, enchant, or set enemies on fire. More than 35 new types of armour, accessories and weapons are now available to unlock.

Significantly improving the quality of life are the Pouches, which allow for better inventory management by storing ore, blocks, seeds, crops, fish, and valuables. Meanwhile, the Mage and Warlock classes have received improvements, and summoned minions now show more aggressive behaviour. There is also a new minion detonator that allows players to trigger explosive effects when summoning minions.

The full list of innovations can be found here.
