Rebellion Studio releases extended Atomfall gameplay with Casterfell Forest, stealth mechanics, and fierce battles
Following hands-on previews from the media, Rebellion Entertainment has released new official gameplay footage of Atomfall, which highlights both combat and stealth mechanics from an experienced perspective.
Here's What We Know
The mission takes place in the Casterfell Woods, where players must track down the mysterious Mother Jago, who is asking for the return of her lost herbalism book.
However, finding the book will not be easy. It has fallen into the hands of the Druids, a faction that does not like outsiders. Players can choose how to deal with the situation - either by direct confrontation, using firearms, arrows and throwing knives to eliminate enemies, or by taking a more strategic, stealth-oriented approach. While combat isn't always necessary, the footage reinforces Atomfall's commitment to player activity, allowing you to eliminate any character in the game.
After returning the book to Jago's mother, she makes an offer that seems to provide an opportunity to escape the quarantine zone, which is the main goal of the protagonist. However, her words have a disturbing connotation that makes players doubt her true intentions.
The video ends on a mysterious note, but Atomfall's player-driven narrative ensures that the choice - including whether to trust or even kill Mother Jago - remains entirely in the player's hands.
Where To Play
Atomfall is scheduled to release on 27 March for Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, as well as on Game Pass.
