The celebration of indie games returns: online show The Triple-i Initiative 2025 has been announced
Evil Empire Studios (writers of The Rogue Prince of Persia and co-creators of Dead Cells) have announced a second The Triple-i Initiative show set in 2025.
Here's What We Know
The first presentation of The Triple-i Initiative took place in the spring of 2024 and focused entirely on indie games. The show was warmly welcomed by the audience, because besides showing a lot of interesting new products, it didn't include any long advertising integrations, long speeches or other tedious elements of big shows (Geoff Keighley wasn't even there!).
The Triple-i Initiative will take place later in 2025 in an online format and will offer world premieres, gameplay demos, and other "surprises" from both established studios and industry newcomers.
The Alters, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, turn-based strategy game Endless Legend 2, Enshrouded and horror game No, I'm not a Human have already been announced. Of course, the list of participants will grow significantly, as even at the first event, over forty indie studios took part.
The 2025 event will also be short, but more intense.
We're still new to this whole video game showcase business, so our goal for the second attempt is not to fix what isn't broken. Last year's show was well received, so we're sticking with the same short and impressive formula, but of course we've made it bigger and better! Players can expect the show to be filled with exciting announcements and... Everything. No adverts, no presenters, no sponsors, just games.
