Steel Hunters shooter will be available in Steam early access on April 2
Wargaming's free-to-play mech-based PvPvE game, Steel Hunters, will be released on Steam Early Access on 2 April. The newly released trailer shows off the game's intense action and highlights the sleek, futuristic design of the Hunters.
Here's What We Know
Wargaming, best known for World of Tanks and World of Warships, plans to develop Steel Hunters in collaboration with players. By launching the game in early access, the studio hopes to improve and expand the gameplay experience based on community feedback, ensuring that each battle and hunter remains balanced.
Unlike some games in early access, Steel Hunters is not expected to stay in this phase for long. The developers are planning a quick transition to the full release, using player feedback to refine the main elements of the gameplay before finalising the game.
The early access version will provide a polished foundation, including key game mechanics, maps, hunters and progression systems. Over time, Wargaming will add additional hunters, maps and quality of life improvements, as well as introduce monetisation strategies.
