Grinding Gear Games has released a teaser trailer for the 0.2.0 update "Dawn of the Hunt", which is due out on April 4 at 22:00 EET:

Here's What We Know

Prior to the launch, Jonathan and Mark Roberts will host a livestream to discuss the new features with popular content creator ZiggyD, and then answer questions from players. A full list of changes will be published immediately after the broadcast.

One of the main novelties will be a new specialisation (Ascendancy), and judging by the teasers, it may be Amazon, a classic character from Diablo 2. This spear-wielding wielder most likely belongs to the Ranger archetype and uses long-range attacks as well as a devastating lightning-fuelled strike from the sky. In addition to the new class, Dawn of the Hunt will bring new skills and auxiliary stones, unique items, and an expansion of the Atlas passive skill tree.

UI improvements are also expected, including the ability to lock main and auxiliary weapons and significant visual and audio improvements, especially for Essences.

Where To Play

Path of Exile 2 is currently available for early access on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. It is worth noting that the game is not free to play during the early access period, but after the full release, it is planned to switch to a free-to-play model.
