Xiaomi has released a hairdryer that dries hair in a minute and has overheating protection

Xiaomi has launched the new Mijia High-Speed Water Ion Hair Dryer in the Chinese market. The manufacturer promises fast and efficient hair drying without damage.

The hair dryer will be available from 20 March at a price of 379 yuan (approximately 52 US dollars).

The new product uses a technology that draws moisture from the air and converts it into water microparticles, which helps to moisturise hair, prevent split ends and add shine.

Thanks to its 110,000 rpm motor, it generates an airflow of 65 metres per second. This allows you to quickly dry short hair in one minute, shoulder-length hair in three minutes and long hair in five minutes.

The hairdryer is equipped with an intelligent temperature control system that measures the airflow one hundred times per second to maintain an optimal temperature of 57°C. This allows you to effectively dry your hair without overheating.

The Mijia High-Speed Water Ion Hair Dryer has eight drying modes, two speed levels and four temperature settings. It also weighs only 355g, making it convenient for long periods of use. The hairdryer is available in Iceland Blue, Moonlight White and Punk Purple.

The device has a magnetic nozzle for precise airflow control, triple overheat protection and a special filter that prevents hair tangling and dust accumulation.
