Samsung Galaxy A56 works without recharging for almost two days - tested by tests
Samsung seems to have delivered on its promise of two days of battery life for its smartphones in 2025. A review of the Galaxy A56 on SamMobile showed impressive battery life results that exceeded expectations for a mid-range device.
Here's What We Know
According to the editorial team, during mixed use (without mobile games), the Galaxy A56 worked for almost two days until the charge level dropped to 24%. The smartphone demonstrated six and a half hours of screen time and more than 16 hours of standby time.
Galaxy A56 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It's powered by the new Exynos 1580 chipset, manufactured using 4nm technology, which also came as a surprise to testers, as Exynos chips are not usually known for their energy efficiency.
In addition, the Galaxy A56 has an improved display compared to its predecessor A55: it is slightly larger and brighter, but this upgrade did not affect battery life.
Galaxy A56 runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. It is the first smartphone in the A5x series to receive 6 generations of One UI updates and 6 years of security patches.

The smartphone also supports AI features such as Circle to Search, improved text recognition, and Samsung Wallet digital key for cars (NFC + Bluetooth).
Galaxy A56 has a new camera design inspired by the Galaxy Fold series. Now the three lenses are located in a single elongated block, rather than separately, as in previous models.
